Lakash describes Maliki’s visit to Wasit as "very late"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Mohamed al-Lakash of the Citizen bloc described the visit of the Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to Wasit province on Wednesday as late.

Lakash said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “Maliki’s visit to Wasit province is very late and the compensations paid for the affected people do not match the size of the great damages caused by the recent floods.”

Maliki has arrived to Wasit on Wednesday morning to observe the size of damages resulted from the floods in Wasit.
