Sadr calls to close Bahraini embassy in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, called to close the Bahraini embassy in Iraq due to storming the residence of Sheikh, Essa Qasim, by the Bahraini police forces.

In a statement recited by his representative, Hadi al-Dininawi, while performing the Friday Prayer, Sadr called for “Closing the Bahraini embassy in Baghdad due to storming Qasim’s residence.”

Earlier, the Bahraini forces stormed Qasim’s residence in al-Darraz area of western Manama, the capital of Bahrain.
