Egyptian former Ambassador to Iraq appointed as accredited Ambassador of Egypt for Iran

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Diplomatic source revealed the appointment of Shareef Shaheen, the former Egyptian Ambassador for Iraq, as an Ambassador of Egypt for Iran.

The source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Saturday “The Egyptian Foreign Ministry appointed Shaheen as an accredited Ambassador to Iran after the Egyptian-Iranian bilateral relations were rehabilitated.”

The diplomatic relations between Egypt and Iran witnessed a progress after the fall of the Egyptian former regime.
