IHEC ready to conduct Anbar – Nineveh’s local elections on 20th of next June

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission announced its readiness to conduct the local elections of Anbar and Nineveh provinces in the new date on 20th of next June.

The Iraqi Council of Ministers has approved on Monday, conducting Anbar and Nineveh’s provincial elections on 20th, next June instead of 4th of next July.

The head of the Electoral Office, Muqdad al-Sharifi said “The IHEC is ready to conduct the elections of the two provinces on 20th, next June.”
