Mosul Airport shelled

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Mosul Airport was attacked with mortar shells launched from an area situated in the southern of Nineveh.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com ”Many mortar shells hit Mosul Airport at late hour of Tuesday night,” noting that “The bombing did not result in any human casualties but material damages.””The mortar shells were launched from an area close to Hamam al-Alil area of southern Mosul,” the source added.Mosul witnesses demonstrations during the last few weeks but the situation escalated to reach armed clashes between the protesters and the security forces. \END\
