Ghaidan: IA forces control “Hugest Qaeda Camp in Anbar”

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Army forces controlled the hugest camp belongs to Qaeda in Anbar province on Saturday.

Iraqiya Satellite Channel quoted the Commander of the Land Troops, Ali Ghaidan as saying “The Security forces controlled the camp.”

Earlier, A military sources assured that “The Ghost” military operation in Ramadi’s desert had been started today Saturday.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan received by IraqiNews.com quoted the source as saying “The exact location of the operation, the area of 160k which links Iraq with Jordan and Syria.”

“At the aim of tracking gunmen, Iraqi army had launched today a military operation at the desert of Ramadi,” the statement added.

“The Ghost operation is to be executed by joint Iraqi forces from Police, Army as well for the support helicopters, targeting the area of 160k in the desert of Ramadi to track Qaida gunmen,” the statement continued.

The statement concluded “The operation aims also at searching for kidnapers whom are very active in that area, farther details were not released yet.”
