IHEC expresses readiness to conduct Kurdistan Region’s elections on September 21st

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission confirmed its readiness to conduct the Presidency and Parliamentary elections in Kurdistan Region on next September 21st.

Earlier, the Presidency of Kurdistan Region has set September 21st, 2013 a date for conducting the presidential and parliamentary elections in the Region.

Member of the Commissioners Board within IHEC said in a statement to IraqiNews.com on Saturday “IHEC is ready to conduct the elections of Presidency and Parliament of Kurdistan Region only at its date on September 21st.”
