Urgent – 21 Iranian pilgrims killed, wounded in Tikrit

Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) About 12 Iranian pilgrims were killed and injured when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded to the south of Tikrit city.Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Saturday “The IED exploded targeting procession of Iranian pilgrims in Ishaki area, which situated between Balad and Samara cities.””The explosion resulted in killing five Iranian pilgrims and wounding 17 others,” the source added.”The security forces closed the roads lead to the explosion area transporting the corpses to the morgue and the injuries to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
