Iraq Ambassador confirms to Kuwait "Iraq’s achievement of its international obligations"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq’s Ambassador to Kuwait handed over the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry the message of the Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zibari, concerning implementing Iraq’s international obligations and relieving Iraq from UN Charter’s 7th Chapter.

The official relations between Iraq and Kuwait witnessed positive developments during the past months where initiatives from both sides were released to relief Iraq from the UN sanctions stated in the UN Charter’s 7th Chapter.

A statement by the Iraqi FM received by IraqiNews.com “The Iraqi Ambassador, Mohamed Hussein Bahr al-Oloum, met the Kuwaiti FM, Sabah al-Khalid al-Sabah where the Iraqi side handed over the Kuwaiti officials Zibari’s message correlated with Iraq’s international obligations and settling the UN sanctions of UN Charter’s seventh Chapter,”

“The two parties discussed the bilateral relations and the cooperation between both countries,” the statement added.
