Mu’alim writes off visas for Iraqi tourist groups entering Syria

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Syrian Foreign Minister, Waleed al-Mu’alim, announced dropping the visas required for the groups of Iraqi tourists wishing to visit Syria.

Mu’alim said in a press conference he held in Baghdad jointly with the Iraqi FM on Sunday that he “informed the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki about his decision over writing off the visas for the Iraqi tourists who visit Syria as groups starting from next June,” noting that “This step comes to encourage the Iraqi tourists to enter in groups to Syria.”
