Iraq VP, Norwegian Ambassador discuss common cooperation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice President, Khudaiyr al-Khuzaye, discussed with Norwegian Ambassador to Iraq, Peter Alborg, the Iraqi-Norwegian bilateral relations.

A statement by the VP office reported “Khuzaye stressed during the meeting, Iraq’s eagerness to develop the relations with Oslo, calling the Norwegian companies to play bigger role in the Iraqi markets especially in fields of investments at oil sector and the other domains.”

“The Iraqi VP also highlighted Iraq’s need for further cooperation in fields of exchanging expertise and training the Iraqi experts, appreciating at the same time, Norway’s interest in upgrading its relations with Iraq and the support Norwegian government offers to the Iraqi community in Norway,” the statement added.

“For his part, the Norwegian Ambassador expressed his country’s willingness to enhance the bilateral relations with Iraq,” the statement concluded.
