2 Persons arrested for trafficking with expired medicines in Nassiriya

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The regiment of special operations in Dhi-Qar province arrested two persons trading with expired medicines in the province.

The Commander of Special Operations Regiment, Lieutenant General Ammar Yusif, reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The security force implemented an inspection operation in Nassiriya city that resulted in arresting two persons trading with expired medicines,” noting that “The force seized amount of expired medicines in the possession of the detainees.”

“The inspection operation was based on precise intelligence information,” he pointed out.

“The detainees were sent to the Office ofCombatingEconomic Crime for investigation while the expired medicines were destroyed,” he added.
