IA officer killed northern Tikrit

Salah-il- Din (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Army officer was killed due to an explosion of an Adhesive Explosive Device in Beiji district of northern Tikrit.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Friday “An Adhesive Explosive Device was attached to a vehicle of an IA officer with a major rank, exploded in Asriya area of central Beiji district to the north of Tikrit city,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing the officer immediately.”

“The security forces transported the dead body to the morgue,” the source added.
