Salah-il-Din governor survives assassination

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Salah-il-Din province survived assassination attempt when mortar shells hit his house in Hajaj village of northern Tikrit.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Friday “Salah-il-Din governor Ahmed Abdullah Abed has survived an assassination attempt when several mortar shells fell near his house in HHHajaj village of northern Tikrit without causing any casualties.”

“The mortar attack caused material damage to the house,” the source added.

It is worth to mention that Governor Abdullah has survived two assassination attempt last Wednesday when his motorcade was attacked with two car bombs to the north of Tikrit.

Abdullah has already revealed during a tribal conference that “Some Iraqi politicians have received millions of dollars from Qatar and Turkey to kill Iraqi and Syrian Peoples.”
