Iraqi researcher discovers natural extract for disease Control

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi researcher, Nada Ghazal, of Babel Nursing College discovered an aqueous extract of pomegranate that can be used as a strong antibiotic to fight the pathogenic bacteria that infect human beings, such as gastrointestinal disease, respiratory and skin diseases and others.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research quoted Ghazal as saying ”The research depended on taking samples of pathogenic bacteria from the patients in Hilla Surgical Hospital and sowed it in a special laboratory environment.”

“The researcher treated the sowed pathogenic bacteria with the aqueous extract of pomegranate and discovered that the it can eliminate (11) kinds of bacteria,” she added.

“The research of the Iraqi student was published in a global Indian magazine,” she pointed out. \END\
