IS MP calls Maliki to make concessions to address current crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Waleed al-Mohamadi of the Iraqiya Slate stressed that “The settlement of the political disputes depends on what the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki makes of concessions.”

The symbolic meeting that gathered top officials was held on last Saturday at office of Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council.

Mohamadi told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “All should be earnest to resolve the political crisis since the security in the country is very shaky and the government must search for real solutions for the current problems.”

Concerning the symbolic Meeting sponsored by Hakim, Mohamadi said “It was supposed the meeting to pay attention to the asides which did not attend in order to really melt the tensions,” noting “Many top officials were absent at the symbolic meeting such as the head of the IS, Ayad Allawi and President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani and head of the Sadr Trend.”
