Mutleg’s Front criticizes Biden’s renewing for his proposal to split Iraq into 3 regions

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The National Dialogue Front, headed by Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg criticized the US Vice President, Joseph Biden’s renewing for his call to split Iraq into Shiite, Sunni and Kurdish regions to achieve the security and political stability in Iraq.

Reports said that Biden renewed in the past week, his proposal for splitting Iraq into regions through phone calls he made with the Iraqi Premier, Nouri al-Maliki and the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi and President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, to address the crisis in Iraq.

MP Ra’ad al-Dahlaki of the NDF said “Biden’s proposal is a global project rather than being personal suggestion, where it is supported by great countries,” confirming “If this proposal is achieved a disaster will befall the contry.”

“The last bombings in Iraq are intended to pressurize the international community to demand for dividing Iraq into regions,” he added noting “We need to wisely resolve the current problems in Iraq.”
