Symbolic meeting to pave way for broader meeting among political leaders, says Kanna

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Rafidein bloc stressed “The symbolic meeting will pave the way for larger meeting among the political sides to address the political crisis.

The leaders of the political blocs in Iraq held on last Saturday a meeting on last Saturday in response to the initiative of Hakim al-Hakim, head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council to unify the views and stand against the terrorism.

Head of the Rafidein bloc, Yonadim Kanna stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The symbolic meeting represents a good step and would prepare the suitable ground for larger meeting among the politicians.”

“The Premier, Nouri al-Maliki was invited to visit Kurdistan Region which will be a second positive step to prepare an official meeting among the political leaders to get rid of the current situation,” he added.
