Alwani calls Government to keep IA forces away from electoral process in Anbar, Nineveh

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid al-Alwani, of the Iraqiya Slate called “The Government to keep the Iraqi Army forces away from the electoral process of the Provincial Councils in Anbar and Nineveh provinces.”

Speaking to IraqiNews.com, he said “The security situation in Anbar province is good in the current days,” noting that “Postponing the elections in these provinces comes for political agends.”

“The Central Government is behind postponing the elections in these two provinces,” he added.

“We hope the PCs elections in these provinces to be transperant away from the governmental interferences,” he concluded.
