Askari: Holding meeting of CoM in Erbil approves its belongingness to Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Sami al-Askari, of the State of Law Coalition stated that holding the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Central Government in Erbil approves the belongingness of Erbil to Iraq.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The CG can hold its meeting everywhere,” noting that “The political atmosphere is positive and the disputes between Kurdistan Region and the CG are no longer existed where holding the meeting of the CoM in Erbil approves a double message of Erbil’s belongingness to Iraq and the settlement of the disputes.”

“Holding the meeting in Erbil is to show that Erbil and Kurdistan Region are a part of Iraq,” he concluded.
