Sahwa leader assassinated eastern Fallujah

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A leader within New Iraq Sahwa headed by, Wissam al-Hardan, was assassinated in an armed attack of eastern Fallujah.

Hardan stated in a press conference “The Sahwa forces were neglected and ignored by the former leader, Ahmed Abu Risha who was busy with trade where we contacted the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and formed the new Sahwa to activate it in order to get the rights back to the citizens,” noting that “Maliki promised us to support us by negotiating with the demonstrators and rejecting forming regions in order not to divide Iraq.”

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An armed attack targeted the car of the Sahwa leader, Abdul Wahid Rasheed al-Ethawi, in Karma area of eastern Fallujah to result in killing him.”

“The security forces hurried to the incident scene and transferred the corpse to the morgue,” the source concluded.
