Shihristani accompanies Iraqi delegation to Erbil after years of rupture of relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier for the Energy Affairs, Hussein al-Shihristani, accompanied the delegation of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to Erbil after years of the rupture of relations and exchanging accusations over the oil contracts with the foreign companies by Kurdistan Region.

It is worth mentioning that Shihristani accused Kurdistan Region of not adhering to the deal with the Central Government over handing over its crude oil to the CG.

In a press statement to Iraqi News on the 1st of June, he said “The deal with Kurdistan Region was to hand over 175 of the crude oil of Kurdistan Region to the CG where it received the money and did not send the oil and it is doing this for the third time.”
