Maliki, Barzani head meeting of mutual high commission

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The High Commission between Federal Government and Kurdistan Regional Government held a meeting on last Sunday in Erbil to follow up the outcomes of the recent agreement between the two governments.

The Iraqi Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki heading a ministerial delegation flew on last Sunday to Erbil where he hold the regular session of the Council of Ministers there.

A statement by Kurdistan RegionG cited that “Within the framework of Maliki’s current visit to Erbil, the mutual High Commission between both sides held meeting headed by each of the PM al-Maliki and Kurdistan RegionG Premier, Najirvan Barzani with attendance of officials from the central government and Kurdistan RegionG.”

“The meeting which represent the first meeting of its kind held by the High mutual commission was concluded by entrusting the mutual commissions to follow up the job of Baghdad Agreement that was concluded between Maliki and PM Barzani in recent,” the statement added.
