IHEC postpones registering nominees’ names for Kurdistan Region presidency

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Independent High Electoral Commission postponed registering the nominees’ names of the presidency of Kurdistan Region.

The Director of Erbil office of the IHEC, Hindreen Mohammed, stated in a press statement to the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan on Tuesday “There is nothing related to registering the nominees’ names for the presidency of Kurdistan Region till finishing registering the political blocs.”

“The Board of Commissioners must set a date for his issue where it will be done according to some terms and conditions,” he concluded.
