Officer injured in southern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) An Iraqi Police patrol was targeted when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded in al-Qayara district of southern Mosul on Tuesday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED explosion resulted in injuring a soldier working in Tal al-Shaeer police station.”

“The security forces closed the explosion area and transported the injured officer to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
