Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) A heated debate took place among the members of the new Provincial Council of Diwaniya due to postponing its session of Saturday that was devoted to nominate the key posts of the Local Government.

Informed source stated to IraqiNews.com “The debate took place because the session was postponed and the lack of agreement over the key posts.”

“Abdul Halim al-Zihairi of Dawa Islamic Party, the Advisor of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, is currently holding negotiations and meetings with the various blocs to reach agreement over distributing the key posts of the Local Government,” the source concluded.
