2 soldier killed, another injured northern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Two soldiers were killed while another was injured due to an Improvised Explosive Device in north of Tikrit, capital of Salah il-Din province.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED blew up on Sunday targeting army patrol in Shurqat district of northern Tikrit, resulting in killing two soldiers and injuring another one.”

“The bombing resulted in damaging the patrol’s vehicle,” the source added.
