Urgent – .4 IPs killed, injured in Tuk Khurmatu

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Four Iraqi Policemen were killed and injured on Sunday when an IED went off targeting police patrol to the east of Tikrit city, capital of Salah il-Din province.

Security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED that was planted in a roadside in Askarai neighborhood in Tuz Khurtmatu of eastern Tikrit exploded targeting police patrol, where the bombing resulted in killing three of the patrol members and injuring another.”

“Security force rushed to the explosion spot and transported the wounded policemen to a hospital while the dead body of the victim was sent to the morgue,” the source added.
