All political blocs seek to impose electoral system consistent with their interests, says Fatlawi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Hassoun al-Fatlawi of the Citizen bloc stressed that “All the political blocs seek to impose electoral systems that match their interests.”

Fatlawi stated to IraqiNews.com “The Federal Court already decided to change the adopted electoral system (Saint Lego) for the next parliament elections whether the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki had called for changing it or not.”

“Each political bloc pushes towards replacing the electoral system by another one that is consistent with its benefits,” he emphasized.
