Lakash criticizes assuming key posts within Dhi-Qar Local Government by SLC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohamed al-Lakash of Parliamentary Citizen bloc described the local government in Dhi-Qar province as a dead since its formation.

Lakash reported in statement to IraqiNews.com ”Dhi-Qar province is still living under poverty line, according to the latest data prepared by the Ministry of Planning, due to unsolved crises which the province suffer from since more than ten years.”The Provincial Council of Dhi-Qar Province has elected, Yahiya al-Naseri, of Tathamin bloc as the governor of Dhi-Qar while Helal al-Suhlani of State of Law Coalition was elected as the Chairman of Dhi-Qar Provincial Council.”The new local government will fail just like the previous one and the miserable situation will remain the same for another four years,” Lakash added. \END\
