Urgent – 30 civilians killed, injured northern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) 30 civilians were killed and injured on Monday due to an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) to the north of Baghdad.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “An IED that was emplaced inside a restaurant in Taji district, 20 km to the north of Baghdad, blew up killing seven civilians and injuring 23 others.”

“Security force rushed to the explosion place, then transported the injured persons to a hospital for treatment while the dead bodies were sent to the morgue,” the source added.
