Sulaimaniya to host Women Weights Lifting Championship

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Kurdistani Weight Lifting Union announced “The clubs championship for women will be launched on 4/July in Sulaimaniya city.”

The Head of the Kurdistani Weight Lifting, Asaad al-Qasab, reported to IraqiNews.com ”The championship will witness the participation of Dohuk, Erbil and Sulaimaniya clubs in order to upgrade weight Lifting sport for women.”

”Most of the clubs’ players are within the formation of the national Iraqi team, thus we expect the championship to be competitive and we are waiting for new records on some weights,” he added. \END\
