Kurdistan RegionG to export natural gas to Turkey in 2016

(IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Natural Resources within the Kurdistani Regional Government announced exporting natural gas from Kurdistan Region to Turkey will start in 2016.It is worth mentioning that, Kurdistan Region started exporting Oil to Turkey by trucks in 2012 which was rejected by the Federal Government.The Ministry of Oil assured on the 25th of April that the mutual strategic announcement between Iraq and Turkey related to export Oil stipulates that the formal source of Iraqi hydrocarbon resources is the Federal Ministry of Oil and oil marketing company SOMO. \END\
