Military operation to track down gunmen launched in Anbar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Anbar Operations Command launched military operation in Rawa desert in Anbar province of western Iraq on background of violent clashes erupted on last Friday between gunmen and the Iraqi army.

Security source mentioned on Saturday “A military operation was launched by Anbar OC to track down the gunmen.”

“The operation centers on Rawa desert of western Ramadi, capital of Anbar,” the source added.

Gunmen attacked on Friday army checkpoint in Rawa bridge that led to killing two soldiers as well as two gunmen along with wounding others from both sides.
