Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Rafa Abdul Jabaar of the parliament Foreign Relations Committee stressed that the Saudi Arabia should understand that the existing regime in Iraq cannot be changed but through the elections, confirming “Iraq’s foreign policy seeks to settle the problems with all the Arab countries as well as with the two neighboring countries, Turkey and Iran.”

Abdul Jabaar told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Iraq is cooperative with all the Arab and neighboring countries on all issues, this demonstrates Iraq’s eagerness to build solid relations with these countries.”

“The political and security situation the region is witnessing hurdles the political movement towards building the foreign relations,” he added noting “Iraq seeks to establish good relations with the neighboring countries in general.”

Concerning Iraq’s relations with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Jaabar pointed out “The Iraqi-Saudi relations is very suspicious where the KSA is responsible for this matter not Iraq as it is still unsympathetic with the new regime in Iraq, so the KSA has to understand that the current Iraqi regime came through the ballot boxes and cannot be changed but through the ballot boxes.”
