Iraq’s Ambassador to Egypt presents copy of his credentials

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The newly appointed Ambassador of Iraq to Cairo, Dhiya al-Dabbas presented copy of his credentials to Republic of Egypt’s President, Mohamed Morsi.

A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry reported “The newly appointed Ambassador to Egypt presented his credentials to the Egyptian President in presence of the Foreign Minister of Egypt, Mohamed Kamil Omar.”

Dabbas had stated that “Egypt will be awarded priority in rebuilding Iraq, noting “The Iraqis inherited a demolished country from the former regime which needs rebuilding processes and the Egyptian companies operating in Iraq face no problems in participating in the reconstruction process.”

“The Iraqi government is exerting earnest efforts to maintain the Egyptians’ rights in Iraq,” he stressed.
