Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Oil announced the decrease of Iraq’s exports of crude oil during last May if compared with last April.

The spokesperson of the Ministry, Asim Jihad said “The crude oil exports for last May reached 76900000 barrel with revenues estimated at $ 7477000000.”

“The exports divided between Basra province with total exports of 68100000 barrel valued at $ 6621000000, besides Kirkuk province’s exports which amounted to 8800000 barrel at value of $ 856 million,” he pointed out.

“The average of the selling price reached to $ 97 and 230 cents for every barrel and the amounts exported during last May scored slight decline due to the bad weather at the southern ports and the sabotage operations at Kirkuk-Ceyhan line,” the spokesperson added.
