Alwani denies forming Loyalty to Anbar Alliance

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid Al-Alwani, of Mutahidoun Alliance denied forming the Loyalty to Anbar Alliance, describing announcing the formation of the alliance as “A media war.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “Anbar Governor, Qasim al-Fahdawi, announced forming the Loyalty to Anbar Alliance which comprises 16 members where he has to approve it by naming the members and this announcement is groundless.”

“Fahdawi’s announcement is a media war,” he added, noting that “Forming the local government of Anbar depends on the objections of the results of the local elections.”
