USA declines to give stolen antiques back to Iraq, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliament Antiquates Committee revealed the refusal of the USA to give the Iraqi antiques it stole after 2003, back to Iraq.

The head of the Committee, Bakir Hamma Sadiq told Iraqi News “Some countries such as Lebanon and the UAE are cooperating with Iraq in terms of retrieving the antiquates,” noting “However, the USA, UK and Spain do not show cooperation with Iraq to regain its stolen antiques.”

“The USA declines so far, to give back the antiques which it stole from Iraq during 2003 war on Iraq,” he stressed.
