Inauguration of photographic exhibition of former regime mass graves

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Human Rights in cooperation with the Parliamentary Committee of Martyrs and Political Prisoners held a photographic exhibition of mass graves at the Parliament hall on Wednesday.The Media Department of the Parliament reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The exhibition was inaugurated by the Minster of Human Rights, Mohamed Shuaa al-Sudani, and MP, Mohamed al-Mahdawi, the Head of the Martyrs and Political Prisoners Parliamentary Committee, MP Salem al-Jabouri, the Chairman of the Human Rights Committee and Safaa al-Din al-Safe the Minister of the State for Parliamentary Affairs in addition to several MPs and figures of media and cultural communities.””The exhibition included photos of torturing the political prisoners and documents of burring martyrs in mass graves in addition to displacing the Shiite Kurdish people and several verdicts of former regime,” the statement added. \END\
