Oil exports through Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline stopped due to technical defect

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) A source from North Oil Company attributed stopping pumping Oil through Kirkuk-Ceyhan oil pipeline due to a technical defect.The source stated to IraqiNews.com ”A test pumping was conducted on last Wednesday but it stopped due to a technical defect in the Oil pipeline.””The pumping of crude Oil will be resumed when the technical cadres in the Ministry of Oil fix the defect in the pipeline,” the source added.The Iraqi crudeOil exports were stopped since 18/ July due to a leak in a rusty part of the Oil pipeline.
