Nijaifi to receive Barzani during his Sunday visit

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, will receive the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, who is visiting Baghdad on Sunday to discuss the political updates and the map of the political alliances in addition to the endorsement of the important laws.

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi will meet Barzani at 2 o’clock at the Constitutional Hall inside the parliament.”

On last Saturday, MP, Mahdi Haji, of the Kurdistani Alliance revealed ‘The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, will visit Baghdad on next Sunday to discuss pending issues.”

He stated to IraqiNews.com “Barzani will visit Baghdad heading a governmental and political delegation from Kurdistan,” noting that “He will meet the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, during this important visit to discuss the pending issues especially between the Central Government and the Regional Government.”

“Barzani will meet a number of political leaders to discuss the political updates especially the current calm political atmospheres to endorse the important laws by the parliament,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, headed the session of the CoM in Erbil and met Barzani.
