Allawi, Barzani discuss Iraqi, regional situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqiya Slate and the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, discussed the Iraqi and regional situation.

A statement by the IS received by IraqiNews.com “Allawi received Barzani and the accompanied delegation at his office in Baghdad on Monday.”

“They reviewed the political situation in Iraq in addition to regional as well as Arab developments,” the statement concluded.

Barzani arrived in Baghdad on last Sunday heading a supreme delegation from Kurdistan Region where he met the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki and the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, as well as other political leaders.
