Nijaifi receives tribal delegation from Nineveh province

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, received a tribal delegation from Nineveh province at his office in Baghdad on Monday.

A statement by Nijaifi’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi confirmed the necessity to preserve the trust and unity among Iraqis.”

“The situation in Nineveh province was discussed during the meeting,” the statement added.

“Nijaifi stressed the vital role of the tribes in sustaining security and stability in the country,” the statement concluded.
