Olympic committee grants IFA 50,000 $

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Executive Office of the Iraqi Olympic Committee approved offering a financial grant of USD (50,000) to the Iraqi Football Association to cover the expenses required to the qualification of the Iraqi National Youth Football Team to the World Cup due to the deficit in the financial budget of the IFA and the extra expenses.A statement by the Media office of the Iraqi Olympic Committee cited “This grant will handle all expenses of Iraqi Football Team’s participation in World Cup as of 7 – 13 of July to support the Iraqi Team for achieving such impressive success in the World Cup.” \END\
