Allawi discusses political situation with Anbar tribes delegation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Head of the Iraqiya Slate, Aiyad Allawi discussed with a delegation of Anbar chieftains, the ramifications of the political process and the solutions that should be taken to amend its orientations.

A statement by Allawi’s office cited “Allawi received Anbar and Faluja’s tribal notable figures where they exchanged views over the political situation and its problems as well as the necessary steps to correct the defects.”

He emphasized that “The Iraqi tribes are one of the important pillars for building the state institutions which lack the essence of the real national departments.”
