Mayahi calls government to reconsider its decision over canceling Ration Card to some citizens

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al0-Mayahi, of the White bloc called the government to reconsider its decision over canceling the Ration Card to some employees and security elements whose salaries exceed one Million and a half IQD.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The decision over canceling the Ration Card to some employees and security elements whose salaries exceed one Million and a half IQD has no economic justifications at the present time.”

“The economic situation in Iraq is increasing due to the economic growth and one Million and a half IQD is not enough to some of these citizens where the Ration Card is a part of the citizens’ share from the oil incomes.”

He called “The government to reconsider this decision and find another means in addition to supporting the families of the low income or applying this decision to those whose salaries exceed three Million IQD.”
