IED defused northern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) The Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team (EODT) defused an Improvised Explosive Device in Shurqat district of northern Tikrit.

Reliable source at Salah il-Din Police told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Force from EODT managed to dismantle an IED on Sunday that was emplaced on a roadside at the entrance of Shurqat district northern Tikrit, without causing casualties or material damages.”

“The security force launched search-raid in anticipation of existence of other IEDs,” the source added.
