Iraq Ambassador to Berlin, German President discuss bilateral relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraq Ambassador to Berlin, Hussein Mahmoud al-Khatib, discussed with the German President, Joachim Zhaox, upgrading the relations between both countries.

A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry cited that “Iraq Ambassador to Berlin, Hussein al-Khatib, participated in the yearly visit held by the German President for the Ambassadors and Heads of the foreign missions in Germany.”

“The Ambassador conveyed the Iraqi government and people’s greetings, stressing “Iraq deals with Germany as friendly country and seeks to develop the relations between both countries in all fields,” according to the statement which noted “The German President thanked the Ambassador for answering the invitation.”
