Supreme Iraqi-Egyptian Joint Committee discuss upgrading relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Supreme Iraqi-Egyptian Joint Committee discussed the means of upgrading relations in all aspects during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.

A statement by the Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “The Deputy Minister, Nazar al-Khierallah, headed the meeting of the Joint Committee.”

“The means of activating the performance of the Committee were discussed during the meeting and both sides reviewed the agreements that the Ministries intend to conclude in the next stage with the Egyptian side,” the statement added.

“Khierallah reviewed the identical economic, cultural and political sides between the two countries in addition to the historical depth that link them,” the statement concluded.
